  1. I’ve read pretty much every book Goodman’s ever written until this one. I’ll come back for your review to see if you liked it. What was your favorite of hers?

    have a great week!

  2. I have Triumph of Deborah to read yet. Hope yo enjoyed it! have a great week!

  3. Boy, that Stockett book is everywhere! I’m going to have to give it a look. I so love getting good suggestions from blogs! I’m reading a couple things, a book in the Holly Barker series by Stuart Woods (“Hothouse Orchid, I think it’s called), plus a non-fiction read, Fear to Freedom by Rosemary Trible, who survived a night of terror being raped at gunpoint. It may be partially at least the news out of San Diego and the two teen girls, but this book is really resonating with me. You can survive past hurts, and thrive. You can learn to forgive and move past fears, woulds, pain and disillusionment. I especially like how it can help coach college students through the maze of difficulties that often confront them, probably because I have two college girls myself.

  4. I need to read The Help too!

  5. I still need to read The Help. Looking forward to seeing what you think of it!
